Seminar “Environment - the driving force for together development between Vietnam Paper and Packaging Industries” took place at Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel. Thanks to practical information and professional organizing, the seminar attracted more than 100 registrations as well as 100 representatives from businesses in Paper & Pulp in Vietnam.
At the seminar, it’s VEAS’s honor to welcome representatives and delegates from Agency for Southern Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Vietnam Pulp & Paper Association (VPPA), Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, Nong Lam University, Revival Watse and some leading companies.
“Asian region consumes the highest amount of pulp in the world (34,7%) but the production only satisfies 62% of the needs,” said Mr. Hoang Trung Son, Vice President of VPPA. Besides, following the trend of circular economy towards sustainable development, Mr. Son evaluated, “Recycled paper takes an important role in paper industry, especially packaging paper can be made from 100% recycled pulp.” Friendly-environment is the most considerable aspect that experts and businesses concern and look for in the recent years.
The seminar has brought a golden opportunity for businesses to update changes in the policies of government, listen to practical experiences, useful sharings from experts. Moreover, talk show and Q&A of the seminar are chances for participants and speakers exchange information with each other. The event is also a good place for business owners widen their networks, build up new relationship, collaborate to develop their businesses.
