Being in the top 100 sustainable development enterprises in 2018 organized by VCCI, Lee&Man Vietnam Co., Ltd produces 90% by recycled paper, contributing to saving 40% of production costs for the factory.
At the announcing ceremony of Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2018 organized by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on 22 November, Lee&Man Vietnam Paper Co., Ltd has been one of the top 100 sustainable development enterprises in 2018. According to Chung Wai Fu - General Director of Lee&Man Vietnam, the company produces 90% by recycled paper and this saves more than 40% of production costs for the factory.
Lee&Man Vietnam Co., Ltd is a foreign investment project operating since 2018. By manufacturing by recycled paper and the world's leading production technology, the company has achieved the significant growth efficiency in production and business for more than one year. Focusing on the mechanism of using more than 90% of recycled paper materials, this is one of the pioneers in using the world's leading advanced production methods and ensuring environmental friendliness.
Mr. Chung Wai Fu said: “Lee&Man's production method helps Vietnam reduce the average exploitation of more than 24 million trees, saving about 45.5 million m3 of water and about 6 billion Kwh of electricity in one year. In addition to using recycled paper technology, the company's sustainable development efforts are also at the stage of waste disposal. Strict management of waste water is one of the top priorities of the company due to its characteristics of spreading and affecting the aquatic environment. We have installed two waste water quality monitoring systems operating continuously for 24 hours. The first monitoring system is located at the end of the paper production process, the second system is located at the end of the wastewater treatment process before discharging into the biological lake. Every five minutes, the system will collect water samples for analysis and certification of wastewater quality.”
