Launching event of Paper Vietnam 2019 on 20 December 2018

Launching event of Paper Vietnam 2019 was successfully held on 20 December 2018 at Royal Hotel Saigon, District 1, HCMC.

Paper Vietnam 2019 - The 8th International Exhibition & Conference on Pulp and Paper in Vietnam, co-organized by Minh Vi Exhibition & Advertisements Service Co., Ltd. (VEAS) and China National Chemical Information Center ( CNCIC), will officially take place from 26 to 28 June 2019 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City.SECC)

In the morning of 20 December, the launching event of Paper Vietnam 2019 was successfully organized at Kim Do Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of many delegates from the Agency for Southern region of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Vietnam Paper and Pulp Association, Senior counselor, Indian Chamber of commerce Vietnam, onsul General of India in Vietnam and Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and media agencies.

At the Introduction, Mr. Phan The Anh, Deputy Director of Southern region of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, said he appreciated the efforts of the Organizers in overcoming industrial difficulties in the past years to maintain and develop professional international trade events with a growing scale both in size and quality as Paper Vietnam.

Besides, Mr. Hoang Trung Son, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Paper and Pulp Association also gave a speech to assess the paper industry: “The production capacity of the industry in 2017 increased by 52% compared to 2016, and the year 2018 increased by 23% compared to 2017, in which packaging paper production increased by 71% and 27% respectively. Paper production in Vietnam in 2017 increased by 36% compared to 2016 and the year 2018 increased by 27% compared to 2017, in which packaging paper output increased by 48% and 33% respectively. It is forecasted that by 2025, the average growth of paper production is 12-15% / year, printing and writing paper is 3.0-4.0% / year and tissue paper is 8.0% -10.0% ”.0%”.

Paper Vietnam 2019 will be invested more by the Organizers in terms of scale and new points, promising to become an ideal trading forum, helping businesses and visitors to find potential customers, promote their brands, update market information and new technology in the Paper industry. The new highlight in the 2019 edition is the "China Brand Show" program organized by the Trade Development Bureau (Ministry of Commerce of China), of which products and technologies targeting "Green Chemicals" in Chinese paper industry will be introduced to participants.
